Hosseini Tahavvori, Foad Ashtari, Ahmad Balbasi, and Hadi Dehqanpour are among the selected in the Humanity category of the event and their photographs were printed in the book published by the HIPA.
HIPA is an international photography competition in the UAE which is held annually with a special theme for every edition.
The theme of the tenth edition held this year was ‘Humanity’ and included categories humanity, general, portfolio, architecture, and special part.
The total prizes offered by the HIPA amounts to 450,000 dollars, making it one of the most lucrative photography events in the world.
Iran had the highest number of participants after India and China in this year’s edition of the competition.
The Grand Prize went to Brazilian photographer Ary Bassous’ work which portrayed a doctor fighting in the COVID-19 fronts.
In total, 19 Iranian photographers were selected in different categories.
